Together We Have the Power to Impact Our Future
“Having deeply comprehended the present challenges and future development of our Church, I initiated a fundraising campaign to preserve our spiritual and physical heritage for the future generations of our community. I am inviting you to join me in this important fundraising effort to better support all parishes and missions within the Eparchy; address the urgent restoration needs of the 112-year-old Cathedral; and to develop our Eparchial resources. Since its beginning, our Eparchy has been a spiritual home, a shelter for those in need, consolation for those in grief and joy for those living with God. Although we are geographically far apart, as members of one community we are close spiritually. Everyone in our family has a unique value and many talents to share. Let us share our God-given gifts to continue building our faith together in unity and with gratitude!”

Testimonials
“I enthusiastically support this Campaign both financially and through my efforts as Chairman of the Stewardship and Development Committee. St. Nicholas Church has been the site of the most meaningful and important family events in my life and I am grateful for the comfort and inspiration it has provided my family for over three generations. I also believe that, with the necessary financial support, the Eparchy is poised to make a substantial contribution to the whole Ukrainian Catholic community by assisting and developing all the parishes of Eparchy.”
“Because we are part of the universal church it doesn’t make sense for us to be on our own. We need to be, we have to be part of the Eparchy. We need to have our Cathedral. We need to have our seminarians. I belong to a religious order, but we serve in this Eparchy and we have served under the Bishop of St. Nicholas Eparchy. We could not exist without the Eparchy, without the Cathedral, without the bishop. That is the essence of being a Catholic church.”
“For myself, for my immediate family and my broader family it’s important to maintain the Ukrainian Catholic traditions because we were brought up in them, we were raised in them. This is our life. But our world is changing and our church must evolve with it. Not on a day-to-day or month-to-month basis. We must think about the future of our church in terms of a long-term continuum. And the Eparchy, in its leadership role in our Church, must have the resources to lead and to continue to support our Ukrainian Catholic faithful for many decades to come.”
“I am a very strong supporter of our Ukrainian Catholic Church and I think that building up the Eparchy resources is a very important task. It seems to have been neglected for a while and I think that our new Bishop has done a fantastic job reaching out and connecting with our faithful throughout the whole Eparchy in the Western United States.”
